(あん)情報 – 冠詞はあるのか？
On 11月 15, 2021 by admin「情報」という言葉は、英語では「煙」や「米」と同じように数えられない名詞（質量名詞ともいう）です。 つまり、物体としてではなく、ある種の「物質」「物質」として扱われます。
そのため、「ある情報」という言い方は意味を持ちません。 例えば、次のように言うべきです：
correct That’s interesting information.
wrong That’s an interesting information.
もし、情報の特定の「単位」について話すことを強調したい場合は、「piece」という言葉を使います（ちょうど、米に対して「cup」を使うように）：
correct This piece of information is very helpful.この情報は、とても役に立ちました。
数えられないので、「情報」には複数形がなく、「少ない」「多い」ではなく「少ない」「多い」と組み合わせます:
correct I have little information about the subject.
wrong I have few informations about the subject.
false I have little information about the subject.
correct I have little information on the subject.
false I have little information about the subject.
correct I have little information on the subject.
correct How much information has been lost?
wrong How many informations have been lost?
少ない情報を持っていることを表現する場合、「some information」を使うのが最も自然です。 a little information “と言うことも可能ですが、一般的ではありません：
correct I’ve found some information about him.
possible I’ve found a little information about him.
